| NIFT-TEA Knitwear Fashion Institute was founded in 1997 by Mr. A.Sakthivel President of Tirupur Exporters' Association. NIFT TEA's course curriculum is designed by a team of eminent knitwear industrialists and expert academicians to teach Fashion Design, Knitting Technology, Processing, Apparel Production, Management and Marketing. An ISO 9001:2000 certified institute which has a nationwide reputation as a Center of Excellence has talented faculty members with industry specific experiences to teach the students; apart from guest lectures and seminars. NIFT TEA offers, Bachelor and Master Degree Courses in six specializations in addition to Diploma Courses awarded by the Institute. The vision of NIFT-TEA Knitwear Fashion Institute is exploring new markets, introducing new strategies in marketing, product innovations and developments also play a vital role under the challenging environment. The knitwear industry has to gear up itself to meet the globalization challenges of international trade. This has resulted in the industry to embark upon a vigorous modernization drive in order to achieve higher levels of productivity and quality. This has given rise to tremendous scope for designers, qualified merchandisers, production managers and quality controllers to meet the international challenges. With this view in mind NIFT-TEA KFI has designed and promoted various courses with a foresight to meet the current as well as the future challenges of knitwear Industry in India. |
