| EVTEK University of Applied Sciences has three faculties such as Institute of Technology, School of Business Administration and Institute of Art and Design. The Institute of Technology has its roots in EViTech, the Espoo and Vantaa Technical Institute, which was founded in 1985 and awarded a trial polytechnic permit in 1992 and subsequently upgraded to permanent status among the first in the country in 1996. The permanent status was subjected to a requirement to provide multidisciplinary education. In 2000, the Institute of Art and Design became administratively part of EVTEK. The education of Economics and Business Administration was moved to EVTEK in 2005, the same year the name was officially changed to EVTEK University of Applied Sciences. |
